While we wait for the NBA play-in games to get underway, Brad and Nate focus today’s Fade Five on the ice and the diamond to kick off the week. Nate drops the puck on Carolina and Nashville for the first game of their series and looks at the total in the Boston/Washington game. Brad expects Gerrit Cole to rack up double digit strikeouts against Texas and gets seduced by the juice on Sonny Gray’s total against the Giants. Plus, the guys look at the total between the Diamondbacks and Dodgers and pack in a few bonus picks to wrap things up.
Fade the Noise with Brad Evans
Welcome to the weekend! Today’s Fade Five is like an over-stuffed Build-a-Bear bursting at the seams. Nate starts off with two series picks for the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and both are hitting at plus odds. Brad’s NBA player props of the day highlight Kyle Anderson taking on Sacramento and Draymond Green facing the Pelicans. Then you know it’s a freaky Friday when Brad is actually picking his Cubs on the run line. Plus plenty of bonus picks, including tonight’s Dallas/Toronto game and a four-leg Stanley Cup Playoff parlay.
After stuffing yesterday’s episode with the Fade Five and plenty of bonus picks, Brad is ready for #TequilaThursday with another buffet of picks. Nate starts things off with the NHL including a pick on the Avalanche trying to clinch the President’s Trophy and a playoff future on the Carolina Hurricanes. Brad then throws out two NBA player props with Domantas Sabonis and Delon Wright. The MLB has been kicking Brad in the jewels, but it doesn’t stop him from going back to the well with Cristian Javier. Plus, after some profitable bonus time yesterday the guys add five bonus picks at the end of today’s episode.
If you’ve been listening to the podcast long enough you know that in addition to the Fade Five, “bonus time” picks from Brad have become the norm. Well today’s episode features the usual five plus another six bonus picks from the guys at the end to help break up the midweek blues. To start things off on a Hockey Hump Day, Nate has a total he likes along with a two-leg parlay with Vegas and Colorado. The NBA player props of the day feature Trae Young and Willy Hernangomez. In baseball, Brad thinks the Tigers are in for (another) long night as they face Kansas City.
Whether you’re ready to add some tequila or you want to wait until Thursday, Brad’s got some spicy picks for today’s Fade Five. With only two NHL games on the schedule, Nate kicks things off with his bets on the ice for tonight’s limited slate. Then Brad jumps to the NBA with player props on Delon Wright, Zach Lavine and R.J. Barrett. On the diamond, Brad likes the Shane Bieber strikeout prop but Nate makes it even more interesting by adding an afternoon pitcher and creating a two-leg parlay. It’s Taco Tuesday! Let’s fill our bellies and our wallets.
