It doesn’t feel like spring yet in parts of the country, but MLB Opening Day is here so Brad loads up the Fade Five with his three favorite picks for today, including the White Sox/Angels and Diamondbacks/Padres. Plus, the weather in Chicago has the guys keeping an eye on the run total for the Cubs and Pirates. Our NBA player prop of the day is focused on Aaron Gordon and the Denver Nuggets facing the Clippers. And Nate adds a pick on the ice for tonight with the Stars and Predators battling in Nashville.
Brad starts off the podcast with an early look at the Final Four match ups this weekend. Then the guys roll into the Fade Five with a handful of baseball futures as they prepare for the start of the MLB season tomorrow. And for the Hump Day Hockey picks, Nate goes with a pick in the Toronto/Winnipeg game and a two-leg parlay for the late night games.
The first of three Pac-12 teams to play in the Elite 8 fell on Monday night as the clock finally struck midnight for Nate’s Oregon State Beavers. Plus Nate has two more NHL picks in today’s Fade Five, including the red hot Washington Capitals and the Carolina Hurricanes.
The Elite 8 is set and both of Monday’s games are obviously in today’s Fade Five. But the guys start on the ice as Nate continues to ride the hot streak in the NHL. For our NBA player prop of the day, Brad looks to the San Antonio Spurs and point guard Derrick White. Then the guys make their picks for the two Elite 8 games with Arkansas/Baylor and Oregon State/Houston.
